Tropic in the Fall

This outfit is centered around the wrapped hoop earrings from EmaniWolf. I took the color yellow from the earrings and used it as an accent color with the nails, bangles, and clutch.

I wanted to showcase an outfit with new high-low dress trend, which I absolutely love!  This trend is flattering to almost every shape, drawing attention to the legs and rear subtly.  The soft color of the dress tones down the vibrant color of the earrings making it perfect for the fall with the jacket and platform booties!

Keep in mind ladies, fall doesn't mean you have to wear muted or earth tone shades.  By slowly introducing vibrant color through eye shadow, nails, or accessories can brighten up any fall outfit.  The key is bright colors used in MODERATION!!

For the makeup the gold tones in the eye shadow works for both a day and night look, making stepping out after work a breeze.

Thanks ladies!!!! And feel free to show me your fall style using these colors.

Pretty 'n' Pink Fall Ombre Nails Tutorial

Okay so I've recently started an obsession with Pinterest (follow me at atlcurvychick!) and although I've been in love with the Ombre trend that became really popular this year, I did not know that there was an Ombre nail trend!

So after I climbed out of the rock that I had been living under, I began seeing all these pins for different Ombre techniques.  Being the DIYer that I am, I thought "hmmm I can do this."

The technique I chose to try was an Ombre effect on each nail.  I used OPIs Panda-Monium Pink, DS Reserve, San Tan-Tonio, You Don't Know Jacques!, and Black Cherry Chutney (pictured below from left to right).  I covered the DS Reserve with one coat of SinfulColors (found at Wal-Mart, Walgreens, and Target) All About You to give the pink glitter of the DS Reserve a gold glitter effect.

I started with the colors pictured above from right to left, and painted my nails from the thumb on.  Here is the final product.

I love the mix of purple, browns, and pinks in these nails polishes, and the effect of them all together.  Feel free to experiment with your own color mix, and comment and let me know how it turns out!

FYI.....these colors would go perfect with the Pretty 'n' Pink outfit posted earlier.

Pretty 'n' Pink

Hello readers!! I'm back! I know it's been awhile since I've blogged, but hey life got in the way, but I'm working on getting back on track and back blogging.

So I've been a little lax on taking pictures of my own outfits (I know what am I going to blog about!) but that's because I've been busy setting up my shop at Etsy called EmaniWolf!!

So while I have not been blogging, I have been productive.  But here is an outfit that I absolutely love for the fall featuring one of my designs on sale at EmaniWolf.

This outfit is perfect for the office, then throw on that leather jacket to meet the girls (or your guy) for drinks after.

For this look I would do a pink and gold eye for the daytime

Then add a little black to the corners and smoke it out for night wear.
